Concurrent 2: EV Hacker - Block A

Session Program
1:30 pm
The Good Car Company discusses the delivery of Australia's first electric vehicle community bulk-buy.  The bulk-buy delivered 24 EV's onto Hobart streets and has changed perceptions in the community about the pace of the EV transition.  The Good Car Company is rolling out the model nationally with bulk buys scheduled in three other states and hopes to put thousands of additional EV's on Australia's roads.
1:44 pm
In this short video, you will be introduced to EVs Enhanced and taken through the evolution of the Nissan Leaf High Voltage Battery Pack from 2010 up to the present day. We will show you some of the differences and improvements made with each generation and discuss some of our own product developments which allow us to harness these improvements for use in older model Nissan Leafs.
1:52 pm
When buying a second-hand EV, it can be difficult to accurately assess the health of the battery. The data is there - but hard to access. Some enterprising App developers however have come up with solutions!
In this presentation, Bryce Gaton will take you through some of the common apps available and explain how they work using the example of a 2011 Leaf.
2:06 pm
The time to ask questions arising from our EV Hacker Block A speakers.

- Anton Vikstrom (GoodCar)
